Welcome!

We are a small band of volunteers based at the Bo’ness and Kinneil Railway (operated by the Scottish Railway Preservation Society) and work as part of the C&W group. 

Two restoration projects are currently being worked on at this time, LNER Buffet Car No 644 & NBR Invalid Saloon No.461 and each vehicle can be viewed within the pages of this site.

Progress on each project can be viewed as a slide show and, in the case of LNER 644, will give you a view into the world of the restorationist where we have taken this vehicle back to the bare frames, and have begun to return her to her former glory.

I would like to apologise to all for the long delay in getting this site up and running again. The transfer from MobileMe to the new hosting service proved to be more complex than had been expected, but I hope you will find it now in full working order – with one small problem. I didn’t know that I needed to transfer the podcast link to the new hosting company first before moving and as a result, I have deleted the old iTunes feed and have now requested the shows to be re-loaded with a new feed. Please keep an eye out for the shows return shortly.
